Terms of Service – Nexus Secure Ltd

1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the provision of services by Nexus Secure Ltd (“Nexus Secure”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) including but not limited to consultation, quotation, supply, installation, configuration, and maintenance of WiFi systems, CCTV systems, access control systems, and intruder alarms.
By accepting a quotation, booking services, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Services Provided
Nexus Secure provides professional installation and configuration of:

WiFi Mesh Systems (including Ubiquiti UniFi solutions)

CCTV Systems (including Hikvision equipment)
-
Access Control Systems
-
Intruder Alarm Systems (including Pyronix equipment)
All services are subject to site survey, technical feasibility, and availability of equipment.
3. Quotations & Scope of Works
All quotations:
-
Are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
-
Are based on the information provided at the time of survey or enquiry.
-
Cover only the equipment and labour explicitly listed.
Any additional works, materials, cabling, hardware, or changes requested after acceptance of a quotation will be chargeable.
4. Booking & Payment Terms

Bookings must be confirmed in writing (email or signed agreement).

A deposit may be required prior to installation.
-
Final payment is due immediately upon completion unless otherwise agreed.

Invoices unpaid after 14 days may incur interest and recovery costs in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts legislation.
Nexus Secure reserves the right to suspend further work where payments are overdue.
5. Retention of Title
All equipment supplied remains the property of Nexus Secure Ltd until payment is received in full.
We reserve the right to recover goods where payment has not been made in accordance with agreed terms.
6. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to:

Provide safe and clear access to the property.

Disclose relevant site conditions prior to installation.
-
Ensure adequate internet connectivity where required.
-
Obtain any necessary landlord, building management, or third-party permissions.
Delays caused by site inaccessibility or undisclosed conditions may incur additional charges.
7. Security System Disclaimer
Security systems are designed to reduce risk but do not guarantee prevention of theft, damage, intrusion, fire, or other criminal or accidental events.
Nexus Secure shall not be liable for:

Criminal acts by third parties
-
System misuse
-
Power outages
-
Internet service failures
-
Lack of maintenance
-
Failure to arm or operate the system correctly
Clients are responsible for routine testing and ongoing maintenance unless covered under a separate maintenance agreement.
8. Warranty
Manufacturer warranties apply to all supplied equipment.
Nexus Secure provides a 12-month workmanship warranty covering installation faults only.
Warranty does not cover:

User damage
-
Tampering
-
Power surges
-
Environmental damage
-
Third-party interference
9. Data Protection
Where Nexus Secure has access to system data or recorded footage during installation or maintenance:

The client acts as the Data Controller.
-
Nexus Secure acts as a Data Processor where applicable.
Clients remain responsible for compliance with UK data protection legislation including registration with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) where required.
10. Cancellations
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.
Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a call-out or booking fee.
Deposits for special-order equipment may be non-refundable.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Nexus Secure shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.

Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the relevant service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
12. Force Majeure
Nexus Secure shall not be liable for delay or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to supplier delays, extreme weather, strikes, or governmental restrictions.
13. Website Use
Users agree not to:

Use the website for unlawful purposes

Attempt unauthorised access to systems

Distribute malicious software
All content remains the intellectual property of Nexus Secure Ltd.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
